PVCC's ILP is grounded in the work of

• the Employee & Organizational Learning (EOL) Team on Learning as a "core" value of the institution and PVCC's commitment to "Becoming a more Learning-centered College",
• the PVCC Quality Service Culture (QSC) Team in identifying and drafting service values for PVCC,
• skillsets of individuals from EOL, Wellness, QSC, service areas, and technology training at the college.

Since each employee has a valuable contribution to make to the college, each employee is given the opportunity to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities. Employees are encouraged to select opportunities based on:

• their own individual learning and development plan and needs,
• the smart goals identified in their plan,
• and assistance needed to reach their goals

Their plan should be relevant, specific, time-lined, flexible and approved through their supervisors.

The ILP development team would also invite any visitors or users to provide their feedback about the ILP and its usefulness and appropriateness. ILP Project Team:
