Associations & Centers

Learning Assistance is an interdisciplinary support service. Its administrators and practitioners have varied backgrounds and professional interests including educational technology, distance education, higher education administration, research, corporate training, academic disciplines (writing, reading, learning, math & science), tutoring, and developmental education (writing, math, reading, study skills).

The following URL (Universal Resource Locator) directory lists professional associations or centers that have a web presence on the Internet. Many of them can contribute to collegiality, networking, and increased professionality of learning assistance administrators and practitioners.

If you find that a learning assistance related association or center with a web presence has been overlooked, send an email with its name and URL so that we can add it to this list.
