ACDEA Fellow - CRLA 2000

Gene is the Director of Andragogy Associates, specialists in College/Adult Learning Systems. He is the author of the widely used assessment tool, Study Behavior Inventory. His extensive experience in learning assistance includes serving as Professor of English/Reading and Associate Dean of Instruction at El Camino College (CA); Acting Director at the National Center for Developmental Education, Appalachian State University (NC); and Director of the Learning Assistance Center, Scottsdale Community College (AZ).

Gene is a past president of the College Reading and Learning Association. He has served as the editor of the Review of Research in Developmental Education,the Journal of College Reading and Learning, and as the Advisory Editor of the Journal of Reading.
