Institute/Session
Summary:
This institute is designed for those working with tutor programs that have begun the certification process. Participants can bring their applications, materials, documentation, etc., and actually meet with Internation Tutor Program Certification evaluators to get advice on what needs to be done to complete the application process. If the application is complete, the program can actually receive certification on the spot! Participants can also review copies of applications from currently certified programs.
Questions are continually addressed to the chair of the ITPC committee regarding the certification process as the institution is completing the application. This institute addresses the needs of those who are working on their applications but who like guidance through the procedure.
We will have several presenters to clarify the process, to verify the certification requirements and help attendees determine where their program stands in terms of readiness for certification. If the application is complete the program may receive their certification at the institute.
We will have completed applications of currently certified programs for attendees to review and get a better idea of what a completed application looks like.
