WELCOME
TO ARIZONA's
Web Site for CRLA Members
At
CRLA's 37th Annual Comference in Kansa City, MO, in 2004, CRLA
members from Arizona met and decided that they would like to petition
to CRLA to start an Arizona chapter of CRLA again. There
are three steps required to ask to become a state chapter.
Arizona can choose to submit a petition
to CRLA to request chapter status.
At
CRLA's 38th Annual National Conference in Long Beach, CA, in 2005,
it was decided by Arizona members attending, that AZ-CRLA's Annual
meeting would be be held at Pima Community College's Annual Developmental
Education Day in Tucson each fall.
Here is a listing of LSC/LAC
sites in Arizona, which are posted in LSCHE (Learning Support
Centers in Higher Education website). If your site is not listed,
ask to be posted on the webpage.
At
CRLA's
40th Annual National Conference in Portland, OR, in 2007,
it was decided by Arizona members attending, that our #1 concern
is membership. Each CRLA
member living in AZ is eligible to become a member of the
Arizona chapter for free. We had talked about adopting an initiative
addressing the needs of transferring students as our initial focus.
