Steps in Creating a Web Page/Site

1.Consider the flow of the web site. Check the structure or Site Map as you build it.

2.Think about the format and look. Web pages in a site should be consistent and
have a "look." What standard information should be on all pages in the site. Note
the headers and footers used here. Follow campus guidelines.

3.Ask yourself the "Design Consideration" questions.

4.What pages will need to be updated--how often and how many, and by whom?

5.Where do you want to create folders and why?

6.Create it and TEST, TEST, TEST

7.Upload your Web Page to the server and TEST again.

8.Ask others for feedback, revise, go back to #5

9.Note when and where updates should take place.
