Paradise Valley Community College’s Accelerated Associate Degree Program (AAD) offers classes that begin every EIGHT weeks during the semester instead of every 16. This program is the ideal choice to achieve a two-year degree if you’ve scored at the college level on PVCC’s assessment tests.

The AAD program fits easily into your work and personal schedule. You take just two classes every eight weeks for four semesters and a summer term. Complete programs are available in the morning or evening so you decide when you want to attend classes.

By following the planned schedule, you’ll earn an Associate in Arts degree that includes 35 credits of required Arizona General Education courses, which admits you to any of Arizona’s three state universities – Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University or the University of Arizona – as well as higher learning institutions around the nation.

You’ll choose from a wealth of interesting and valuable liberal arts majors such as Communications, Criminal Justice, Interdisciplinary Studies and Sociology. And, you decide on your major after the first few semesters, when you’ve had a chance to study and explore your options.
