Walk-In Assessment/Testing Hours & Information

Tests Offered:

Placement assessments (English, reading, math, or ESL using ASSET, COMPASS, or CELSA, must be started at least 1 hour before closing)
Instructional Testing (Make-ups, OE/OE, GIL, FlexExpress, Internet courses, etc. Must be started at least ½ hour before closing)
NET--Nurse Entrance Tests (must be started at least 3 hours before closing, not available the week before or first week of any semester, or the last week or finals week of any semester)
CLEP--College-Level Examination Program (must be started at least 2½ hours before closing, not available the week before or first week of any semester, or the last week or finals week of any semester)
HCC Credit by Examination (must be started at least 1½ hours before closing, not available the week before or first week of any semester, or the last week or finals week of any semester)
NET & HCC not available 5/27-6/6 & 7/28-8/22 2008
CLEP not available 5/27-6/6 & 7/28-8/22 2008

Photo ID required for all testing

Acceptable forms of ID include current original photo ID issued by school, employer, or city/state/federal government such as driver's license or state ID, passport, military ID, etc. (photocopy, facsimile, or other reproduction not acceptable)
Unacceptable forms of ID include expired photo ID, ID without photo such as birth certificate or social security card, organization membership card, check cashing card, parent's photo ID, ChildFind ID card, web page with photo, etc.
CLEP requires 2 forms of ID, see CLEP information page for more details

No aids allowed (calculators, books, notes, etc.) unless specified by instructor

Certain calculators are permitted on COMPASS math tests and ASSET Algebra tests, but not on ASSET Numerical Skills

No purses, backpacks, fanny packs, cell phones, beepers, radios, tape players, cd players, ipods, MP3 players, PDAs, laptops, or other personal belongings allowed in testing room. Small lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ask proctor for key

No children allowed in Assessment Center or left unattended on campus (see catalog common pages under "College Environment")

No breaks allowed--please attend to personal needs prior to testing

All tests must be completed by the end of the scheduled period. Please allow yourself enough time!
