Jake Saylor Baseball May 24, 2012 FORMER PUMA IMPRESSES IN CINCINNATI Former Puma Jake Saylor (2008-2010) impressed his current school, University of Cincinnati, both on the field and in the classroom this year. On the Academic side, Saylor was named the UC College of Engineering and Applied Science Scholar-Athlete of the Month for April 2012. Saylor carried a 3.42 GPA. STORY On the field, Saylor was named to the watch list for the 2012 Johnny Bench Award. The Johnny Bench Award is given annually to the top Division 1 collegiate catcher.
