Alumni August 24, 2012 PUMAS OUTPLAY THE COUGARS The Pumas are off to a great start with a 5-0 win over the South Mountain Cougars. The Men had 3 players find the back of the net. The Pumas were awarded 4 PKs during the game. Dejan Susak scored 3 PKs while Jon Simic scored 1 PK. Emmanuel Conde finished his opportunity with an assist from Edson Moreno. Mo Aguirre played 90 minutes in goal for the Pumas. Aguirre made 2 saves and received the first shut out of the season. “It was a good start for the 2012 PVCC Men’s Program, but this is just the start of the season and many things will need to improve in order for us to stay competitive for the league title,” commented Boris Teoharevic. The Pumas compete again next Tuesday August 28th at 6pm at Mesa Community College.
