Puma Baseball alumni Harlyn Griffiths, Cory Perreault, Eric Bond, Andy Silcox September 11, 2012 2012 PUMA CLASSIC GOLF TOURNAMENT The PV Athletic Department held its 8th Annual PUMA CLASSIC Golf Tournament at The Arizona Biltmore Adobe Course on Saturday, September 8. A great time was had by all 100 participants. The tournament was won this year by two current Puma golfers and their fathers. Kenny and Mark McGinley along with Hayden and Mark Breen shot a remarkable 21 under for a final score of 50! Adding to the fun, former Puma Baseball student-athlete Eric Bond (2008-2010), made a hole-in-one on hole 9. The ace was his first ever! Although final numbers are still being tabulated, the Athletic Department was able to raise approximately $5,000 for the PV Athletics Scholarship and Support Fund. The funds will be used to purchase textbooks and award tuition dollars in direct support of the academic endeavors of our PV student-athletes. On behalf of our student-athletes and teams, we would like to thank all those who participated and supported the event this year. We are grateful for the support of our student-athletes and programs.
