PUMAS STRUGGLE TO FIND THE BACK OF THE NET

The PVCC Women played Cochise Community College Thursday October 4th at Cochise. This was the first game for the Pumas where they were unsuccessful at finding the back of the net after 110 minutes of play. The game ended in a tie 0-0. “This was a frustrating game for us. It’s hard when you dominate possession and are unable to finish. We had several opportunities that didn’t go our way. I think this gives us a chance to refocus on our goals and get back to work,” commented Coach Kacey Bingham.

The Pumas recorded 16 shots on goal.

Cochise recorded 3 shots on goal.

Tessa Hamberlin played the first half and recorded 1 save. Rachel Cardwell finished the game with 2 saves.

PVCC competes again this Saturday October 6th at 2:30pm at home.
