BACK TO WINNING WAYS

The Pumas beat Glendale Community College on October 6th 4-0. Cassie Beckwith scored the only goal in the first half with an assist from Ali Doller in the 6th minute.

The Pumas scored their second goal in the 46th minute. Jessie DeLeon found the back of the net with an assisted by Courtney Chung. In the 52nd minute Chung slotted a ball to Doller who found a goal. Doller scored the 4th goal in the 87th minute off a cross from Marisa Villaverde.

PVCC recorded 13 shots on goal to CGCC’s 2.
Rachel Cardwell and Courtney Hageman split time in the goal. Each keeper recorded 1 save.

Coach Kacey Bingham said, “We talked at half time about the importance of executing in the final third. Finding the back of the net is crucial as we approach playoffs.” On October 9th the Pumas compete against Pima at 3:30pm in Tucson.
