PVCC ACCAC CHAMPIONS The PVCC women finished their regular season play with a victory over Gateway Community College 7-0. The Pumas are the 2012 ACCAC Champions with a record of 17-0-1. The ladies came out hard to take care of business in the first half by scoring all 7 goals. Scoring for the Pumas were Ali Doller(2), Jessie DeLeon(2), Cassie Beckwith, Bethany Waterbury, and Ashley Johnson. Assists came from DeLeon(3), Doller(2), and Waterbury. PVCC recorded 29 shots on goal to GWCC’s 1. Rachel Cardwell played 90 minutes in goal for the Pumas. Cardwell recorded 0 saves. Coach Kacey Bingham said, “The women have had an incredible season. This is an amazing group of talent and heart. We have scored 91 goals and only given up 4 goals in regular season play. We are optimistic going into playoffs.” |
