The PVCC women's soccer team made it 11 wins out of as many matches with a convincing 8-0 win away to South Mountain on Thursday.

The Pumas started with a goal just about five minutes into the match by the conference's leading scorer Nicole Nsa. As PVCC settled into the match, captain Ashley Stein fired home a free kick to make it 2-0. Krisa Duff and Savannah Quintana would also add goals for a 4-0 halftime scoreline.

The second half saw PVCC impose its style on the match and maintain the lion's share of possession. Nsa and Quintana would add second-half goals, while Ashley Johnson added two of her own to complete the 8-0 win. All combined PVCC's offense generated an enormous amount of attack totaling 32 shots on goal.

All three goalkeepers, Rachel Cardwell, Chelsea Abboud and Bailey Seltzer combined for the shutout to maintain PVCC's perfect record thus far.

Next up for the PVCC women is an away rematch with Mesa CC on Thursday, October 3rd, slated for a 4:30pm kick-off.
