Arizona Workforce Connections provides services to job seekers through a “One-Stop” system. Job seekers can meet with representatives from Job Services, Veterans’ Services, Vocational Rehabilitation and other state and federal programs. Programs may be available to help workers who were laid off pay for short-term occupational retraining at community colleges.

Unemployment benefits replace part of the income workers lose when they become unemployed. It is a benefit available to workers out of work through no fault of their own. Community Information & Referral is 24-Hour Help Hotline that refers community members to services that may be able to assist in a variety of areas including: emergency assistance, housing/foreclosure issues, health care programs, food assistance and bill assistance. The website also contains a comprehensive online database of service providers, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
The AARP Foundation has a broad array of services to help older workers find more meaningful employment. In addition to providing access to skills assessment and training (40+), the AARP Foundation can even connect qualified individuals with on-the-job training at companies that value your experience and dedication.
The Arizona Coalition for Military Families is a public/private partnership focused on building Arizona’s statewide capacity to serve and support all service members, veterans and their families. The Coalition works to foster cross-sector collaboration between the military, government and community.
