Watercolor paper notebook for color exercises (11x14) Optional. (Not required for workshop)

Pencils (#2B) or regular pencil

Eraser kneaded

Spray Bottle

Sponge

4 or more metal clips

Masking tape

Plastic palette with lid (Suggested brands, Robert Wood, Pike)

Watercolor Paper

Arches 140 lb watercolor paper or whatever brand you are using (2 sheets (22x30) or more to begin)

Watercolor Board

Formica coated board large enough for 22x28 (1/2 sheet or 28x32 full sheet)

or GatorBoard, Foamcore, drawing board, to clip or tape watercolor paper.

Brushes

1/2” or 1" flat watercolor brush

#2 rigger brush (optional) Also known as script brush

#8 or #10 round watercolor brush

#12 or #16 round watercolor brush

Items with an * are suggested minimum colors you can use to begin, other colors can be purchased later. I recommend Winsor Newton and M Graham and Daniel Smith if ordering from their catalog. A list of 1-800 numbers for art supply catalogs will be available. If you purchase any of the M. Graham watercolors, call the  Arizona Art Supply store at Shea/Scottsdale and they will have them delivered from the main store.  If there are enough requests, they will stock them.
