FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will I receive confirmation?
No class confirmations are sent, however you can print your schedule and receipt from your online student account at http:my.maricopa.edu. To confirm your class or class location, call (602) 787-6800. Payment for noncredit classes is due when you enroll. Your enrollment in the class is not guaranteed until payment is received.
What if the class is full?
Sign up early as class sizes are limited. If a class is full, contact Continuing Education at (602) 787-6800 to be placed on a waiting list.
What if a class cancels?
noncredit courses are self-supporting and all course related expenses are paid from student registration fees. Courses that do not meet a minimum student enrollment are subject to cancellation. If that should happen, every effort will be made to notify you by telephone to transfer you to another section, find you an alternate course, or process your refund.
What are your office hours?
From May 12 - Aug. 1, office hours are:
8am-7pm Monday-Thursday and
8am-3pm Fridays.
Many of the buildings are closed from 3pm Friday to 8am Monday.

Only persons registered in the class and on the roster may attend that class.
Where are classes held?
Most classes are held at PVCC Main campus. Locations listed as TBA are held on the Main campus and students will be notified 1-2 days prior to the class as to the room number. Maps are provided online for classes held off campus.
Are there age requirements?
You must be at least 15 years old to register for a noncredit course, unless otherwise noted. Kids College classes have specific age requirements.
Supplies and Textbooks
Some classes have required or optional supplies and books in addition to the course fee, which are noted in the course description. The Bookstore’s phone number is (602) 787-7120. Art supply lists are linked to the Arts and Crafts page. On occasion, courses are cancelled for low enrollment. Prior to investing in new materials, or if you do not have internet access, call Continuing Education at (602) 787-6800 one week before class to verify class status.
What is the refund policy?
If a class is cancelled by the College, you will be notified and entitled to a full refund of the registration fee. Contact the Cashier's Office at (602) 787-7350 to process your refund. If you choose to withdraw from a class, please notify us two full business days prior to the first course session so that other waiting students may be enrolled in your place. If you withdraw from a class less than two full business days before it starts, a $15 processing fee will be assessed. Kids College and CAAP refunds are handled differently and outlined on their respective pages. All fees are non-refundable after the class starts. Refund requests due to extenuating circumstances may be submitted in writing within seven calendar days after the course start date to the Division of Continuing Education.
What about parking?
Well-lit parking is located on the north and west sides of the main campus. Emergency call phones that ring directly to College Safety are located in parking areas. Buildings are accessible with convenient handicap parking. You do not have to pay to park at PVCC. Parking permits are not required for one day classes. Parents of Kids College students will be provided a temporary parking pass. For classes that meet more than once a semester, please contact College Safety at (602) 787-7900 to determine if you need to a parking permit.
