Certificate of Completion
When you successfully complete all of the exams in the course, you will receive your Certificate of Completion. This will allow you to utilize our AHIT Certified Inspector Logo. This course is accepted in Arizona for pre-licensing education.

There are 3 parts to obtaining certification:

1. 80 hours of approved coursework for pre-licensing through the Arizona Board of Technical Registration (BTR). This is what the Online Master Course is.

2. The student must then sit for a national exam offered through a third party. This information is available through BTR. This course will assist in obtaining required knowledge.

3. Complete the license application and fingerprint card process with the BTR. It takes the BTR up to 60 days to process the license application. During this period, you will want to complete the fourth step.

4. The student finally goes on 30 hours of ride-alongs with an Arizona licensed inspector and complete an inspection report for each ride-along. AHIT can set this up at the student’s request for $75 per inspection, or the student may already have somebody in mind.
