Belcastro, Richard, has been teaching digital photography (basic and advanced), camera basics and photo editing for over 35 years. Photography venues include weddings, family portraits, and group work. www.bella-via.net

Bertenshaw, Pat is a Certified Financial Planner and Financial Consultant with A.G. Edwards & Sons. He has a B.A. in Finance/ Accounting from University of Arizona. He is also an instructor at Rio Salado College.

Bird, Tom is a nationally renowned best selling author and writing coach. His work has appeared in such publications as Parade Magazine, USA Today’s Baseball Weekly and The American Banker.

Blake-Ward, Ethel is an avid Bridge player and participates in an ACBL (American Contract Bridge League) sanctioned game three times a week. She brings a unique combination of knowledge of the game of Bridge and a strong background in teaching and presentation skills

Blake-Ward, Peter worked in education as a teacher, and school administrator, retiring in 1986 as an assistant superintendent. He then went into the real estate business where he owned and managed residential property. Finally fully retired to Arizona in 1997, Peter is now playing bride on a regular basis, and is a Life Master andcurrently approaching Bronze Life Master.

Bouchard, Anthony, PhD, University of Wisconsin, has spent many years in Europe and has been a teacher for many years.

Boyd, Kevin is a multi award-winning Education Specialist and published author of such books as eBay Business at Your Fingertips and eBay Rescue Problem Solver. He is a professional online marketing consultant who has appeared on various TV and radio programs.

Buha, Aleksandra, BFA, Arizona State University, is a fine artist and teaches drawing at JFSC Enrichment Center. Her work has been featured in many art shows and she has received numerous awards.

Carol, Hadara, MA, BA is an experienced teacher who taught history on many levels, from junior high school to community college.

Christensen, Bobbie is the author of seven published books including best-sellers and award-winners.

Christopher, Sallie, BA, Brooklyn College, NYU School of Commerce; marketing, sales and advertising back ground; certified substitute teacher since 2000 in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale K-12 School Districts.

Coffman, Craig is an experienced piano instructor, professional pianist and music director. He has over 20 years experience teaching piano privately. His piano seminars have been attended by over 18,000 students since 1993 in 15 states and also overseas.

Coker, Nicole has taught at the community college level for over 12 years. She has a passion for teaching students how to save money, create a budget and be financially prepared.

Comi, Philip, BA, Psychology, State Univ. of NY; over 25 years teaching experience; additional training: biofeedback Society of Arizona, Transcendental Meditation Association, Silva mind Control and Basic Hypnosis.

Congiusti, Lizabeth has an AAS in Food and Beverage Operations from Oakton Community College. She is a Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators. She has taught wine tasting and etiquette for four years at Scottsdale Community College.

Deacon, Debora works as the Dean of Graduate Studies at Harrison Middleton University, a small, private liberal arts college. Her current areas of research include Japanese anime and manga and women's public art. Her new book, American Women Artists in Wartime, 1776-2010, was published in September by McFarland Publishing Company. She holds a BA in art history and a Ph.D. in the Theory and History of Art with a major in the art of Southeast Asia and a minor in the art of East Asia.

Dente-Zuluaga, Theresa, Sheffield School of Interior Design, is author of Why Not Beauty and a portrait artist. She has 27 years of taching experience, and 12 years of experience in Interior Design in the Valley.

Dillard, Trudy has an A.G.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from Glendale Community College. She has taught custom beadwork in both a one-on-one setting and in group settings at churches, schools, bead stores and senior centers.

Domaz, Silvana is a native Brazilian who has been in the U.S for the past 22 years. She has taught Portuguese to private clients and corporations such as Motorola.

Flanders, John

Foedish, Deborah AGS, AFA, PVCC; BFA, ASU; taught by a French artist at age 12, sold her first painting at age 13; Utrecht Art Supply instructor.

Franklin, Cathy is an internationally published photographer with a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked for over 35 years as a graphic designer, Illustrator and photographer. She also has 20 years experience as a Graphic Design Instructor in post-secondary education at a for-profit college.

Gissler, Jules grew up in the Big Sky country of Montana. She received a degree in Graphic Design from Montana State University in Bozeman and then moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she gradually learned to decipher a Southern drawl. For the past 25 years she has stretched her creative imagination in many directions. She produced hand-painted pillows with beads and conversational charms and sold them to such stores as Barneys New York, Ballard Designs catalog, ABC Carpet & Home, and The American Craft Museum. One of her pillow designs also became a hand-painted canvas doll called the “Baby Angel,” which celebrates individuality. She has also designed wardrobe for a blues singer and taught art to children. Currently, Jules writes and illustrates children’s books, paints whimsical art, has a jewelry line, J Period, which offers The Leash and the ziG bracelet made of hardware and unique beads, and is licensing her artwork. She has lived in several cities, but Phoenix, Arizona, has been her home for the past 12 years. She continues to be inspired by her daughter, her rescue dog, Harper, and her eclectic group of very cool pals.

Gnepper, Nancy has over 13 years experience in teaching classes at gourd clubs and senior centers. She is a talented artist specializing in wood working, weaving, pottery and gourds.

Haussman, Jean holds two Masters degrees, is a certified massage therapist with 10 years of experience, has been teaching for 25 years and is a Personal Wellness Coach specializing in weight loss.  Her life focus has been on creating a lifestyle that supports living well and being connected to others.

Holley, Charles has over 55 years of photography experience and a graphic artist technician. He studied at Eastman Kodak in NY and Pentax in Denver. His love of photography lead him to teach at a Midwest college for 14 years, then later at Scottsdale Community College.

Jaffer, Salim is a well-accomplished engineer working for GE for the last 11 years. He is also an Associate Member of The American Society for Mechanical Engineers. Additionally, he graduated with merit from the Institute of Ismaili Studies in London in 2003. He has also spent 25 years as a Youth & Adult Teacher in the programs for Youth Development and Adult Religious Education conducting Youth Camps.

Janis, Bruce is a an English Teacher, Writer, and Tutor, and a graduate of Yale University. He loves teaching and helping his students.

Jones, Judy, Vice President, Dual Connection, a computer training and services company, has been an adjunct faculty member of Maricopa Community Colleges since 1994. She is co-author of the Exploring series of computer textbooks.

Keyser, Paul MS, Troy State University, spent 32 years living in Italy, owning and operating two Italian companies. He has been teaching English to Italian adults for over two years and has conducted technical seminars for colleagues and customer sales personnel for over 15 years.

Klare, Martha has studied in China and the US and has been painting for over 15 years.  Her work has sold internationally in the illustration, décor and greeting card industries. Her love of art, design, nature and all things peaceful led her to the study of Asian Brush Painting.   She enjoys helping students discover the ancient art of Asian Brush Painting as a means of relaxation, enjoyment and self expression.

Krusemark, LeeAnne is an author, business owner, and adjunct Professor at more than 200 colleges from Maine to Hawaii, including Purdue, and an online instructor at more than 1,000 facilities around the world, including Harvard Adult Education. Her Ed2Go online courses are available at PVCC through www.ed2go.com/pvcc.

Langlois, Mary has a BS in Business from the University of Las Vegas. She has over 16 years experience in woodcarving and has spent time instructing others in woodcarving fundamentals as well.

Larsen, John, BSME, University of Aarhus (Denmark), Financial advisor and investment representative since 1995, has taught financial courses since 2002.

Lilleston, Shelia, President, Dual Connection, a computer training and services company, has been an adjunct faculty member of Maricopa Community Colleges since 1994. She is co-author of the Exploring series of computer textbooks.

Lofy, Thomas, JD, is an attorney, CPA, and Certified Financial Planner, as well as a Personal Financial Specialist. He also teaches yoga. Lowy, Alan is a juried member of the Sonoran Art League and exhibits hand-colored black and white photographs. He has over 40 years of professional photography and teaching experience.

Lyddon, Julianna, MC holds a master's degree in marriage, family, and child therapy. In addition to private practice counseling, she conducts seminars and workshops focused on a variety of marriage and family topics. Julianna has been featured as a guest speaker on television and radio programs locally and statewide.

Metcalf, Katherine has 25 years experience with tarot cards; intuitive consultant, business owner, psychic astrologer and instructor of Tarot at several valley locations.

Moore, Aaron is an assistant professor of history at Arizona State University. He specializes in the twentieth century Japanese history with a focus on the wartime and colonial eras. He has lived and worked in Japan in various capacities for fifteen years. He also teaches more broadly on the history of modern Asia since the 19th Century. (BA, MA, PhD History, Asian Studies).

Myers, Trish began her career as a writer and producer for a video and film production company in the Mid-West and went on to work as an account manager for one of the nation’s top advertising and public relations firms. Striking out on her own, she handled advertising and PR activities for several Fortune 500s. She also wrote speeches for elected officials and consulted with successful mayoral, gubernatorial, congressional and senatorial campaigns. Eventually, Myers found her way into academia. She developed and taught public relations and mass media courses at the University of Evansville, Indiana, until drawn to opportunities abroad, first in the United Kingdom, then in Dubai, and recently, in Jordan. Myers is an award-winning independent filmmaker, co-producing documentary films that highlight domestic and international human rights issues.

Neeley, Connie has been doing art since high school and has participated in craft shows for over 40 years. She has also taught several art courses.

Nestor, Tina has been a small business owner of “Create Yours” since 2005. She has been involved with flowers, sales and floral design since 1988 and has taught floral design since 2005.

Nichol, Norman, DDS, PhD. Experience includes Chief of Bureau of Health Education for Maricopa County Health Department, University professor in psychology, and instructor at Scottsdale and Glendale Community Colleges.

Nweke, Hannelore Maria is an experienced Healing Art Practitioner and a Massage Therapist for the last 25 years. More information can be found on her website, www.HanneloreMaria.com.

Parker, Denise has a M.A. in French from University of Virginia and a B.A. in French with a Minor in Spanish from Miami University. She has taught at the Maricopa Community Colleges.

Powell, Doss

Price, Penelope holds a B.S. in Comparative Politics and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Literature from Arizona State University. Recent awards include a 2001 Telly Award for the Promotion tape Artists of Resistance, and the 2001-2002 Arizona Commission for the Arts Media/Visual Arts Fellowship. Price's most recent film, Pasa Un Angel won the Golden Spire Award in the San Francisco International Film and Video Festival.

Prieto-Castro, Jorge has a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching with over 25 years of teaching experience. He spent 7 years teaching Spanish in Costa Rica.

Rebadow, Donna L.Ac., MAc, MS, BS, AAS is a licensed acupuncturist and has  Masters degrees from Canisius College and Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, Bachelor Degrees from Wayland Baptist University, and an Associates Degree from Erie Community College.  She currently is a Residential Faculty member at PVCC and has over 30 years of teaching in the Maricopa Community College District. Additionally, she has studied at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Chengdu, Sichuan, China).   She is a certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner and is working toward certification in Sports Medicine Acupuncture (anticipated completion April, 2012).  Donna has applied to be a Sports Medicine Acupuncturist at the 2012 London Olympic Games.  She currently works with professional baseball players from the Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland A’s and Texas Rangers.

Robinson, Roger, PhD, MBA, MA, AB has degrees from Harvard, Wayne State, Michigan State and Walden Universities. For many years, following the Navy, he ran successful milti-unit entertainment, recreational enterprises in Michigan. This success and sale of of Roger's business got him to Phoenix. Here he continues to combine his entrepreneurial and academic experiences/skills for the benefit of both profit and nonprofit enterprises in pursuit of their dreams, visions, missions and values. Roger is a dedicated member of the American Cancer Society (Relay for Life), Executive Service Corp and Greater Phoenix Score, for whom he counsels clients. He has also been a favulty member at various universities in Phoenix and Michigan.

Schuch, Jill is a Website and Internet Marketing Specialist. She has developed and taught Digital Photography for Law Enforcement, Computer Crimes, Photoshop and Digital Camera classes in Illinois and currently is developing websites and advertising for a national law enforcement academy in their continuing education department that will be a part of the Homeland Security Education Building in Glen Ellyn, IL.

Schuffman, Steve has been a private guitar instructor since 1979 and performer since 1971. He is an accepted guitar student of Jazz, Guitar legend Joe Pass and is the author of two guitar instruction book.

Schultz, Richard is a stage director and playwright with numerous stage productions to his credit. He founded Theatre Eclectic, a professional theatre ensemble in metro Chicago where he wrote and directed the original comedy, Patsy’s Bridal Shower, which ran for five years. His local directing credits include productions at Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, Herberger Theatre Center and Tempe Center for the Arts. As a writer, he has covered the arts and cultural scene for Echo Magazine, The Midtown Messenger and Lakeview Times. Richard was the co-founder and Director of Arts for the Arizona Conservatory for Arts and Academics, a performing arts charter school in North Phoenix. He has served as adjunct faculty at the College of DuPage and Arizona State University. He is a member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC) and possesses a MFA in Theatre from Illinois State University.

Shubert, Carrie, Certified Hypnotherapist; clairvoyant, psychic and consultant to police, celebrities and clients. Instructor of metaphysical and parapsychology classes for over 25 years with appearances on radio, TV and film.

Sieve, Jerry has been a national level landscape photographer for over 30 years and is known for his vast array of landscape images. He is highly published with extensive teaching experience.

Speen, Elyse Ann is a Psychic, Healer and Teacher with 10 years of experience guiding hundreds of clients along their life paths and facilitating countless numbers of healings. She has also guided others through private and corporate group events.

St. Clair, John has a MA in Spanish and has taught Spanish at Scottsdale and Paradise Valley Community College level for several years.

Stone, Karen MEd, with emphasis in Spanish, Univeristy of Illinois; more than 15 years of experience living and studying in Mexico and currently teaches for the Maricopa Community Colleges.

Sudduth, George has been a practicing and exhibiting artist since 1970, and studied as an apprentice for Master Artist, Manlio Gubert in Rome, Italy. His work is featured in several collections, including those at the Wesley Foundation, University of Louisianna and LA Tech University.

Taylor, Donna

Thiel, Magdalena, BA, Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Seperiores de Monterrey, is a Uui Reiki master and Karuna Reiki Master. She has been teaching Reiki privately at all levels for over 3 years. She also provides energy healing sessions using a wide variety of modalities, including Reiki, Crystal healing, Ethereal Crystals, Pellowah, Theta Healing, matric Energetics and others.

Thorton, Sybil teaches pre-modern Japanese history and Asian civilization at Arizona State University. Her research focuses on Japanese religion, epic, and cinema. She holds degrees in Latin (BA, UC Berkeley), film (MA, San Francisco State), and Japanese (BA, MA, PhD, University of Cambridge).

Tietler, Barry NRA Certified Instructor in pistol, rifle, shotgun, personal protection and home safety. AZ Certified Instructor for Concealed Weapons Permits. Member of Firearms Instructor's Association. 30+ years teaching experience.

Trotta, Gary is the CEO of Training Games Inc, and Arizona based corporation developing PowerPoint games for teachers and trainers. Gary has a Master's Degree in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. in Psychology from New York State University at Geneseo. He has over 26 years of experience in corporate training and now provides various workshops and adult course instruction at Paradise Valley Community Center. Gary truly enjoys speaking and delivering fun and engaging presentations on learning, memory and the human brain.

Walker, Natalie has a M.A. in Comparative Literature and a Master’s degree in teaching German and English. She is a native of Austria and native speaker of German. She taught German at an Austrian middle school and has taught several German classes for American college students.

Warsofsky, Marilyn, MFA, has over 25 years experience in the performing arts field, including acting, directing, fundraising, and teaching.

Zeh, Anthony, BFA, has been a professional photographer for over 9 years, working from fashion to photographic arts. He has also taught college in the design field for 5 years, with topics ranging from architectural history to AutoCad. he is proficient in Photoshop, Lightroom and many related softwares.
