Watercolors (if you have your own, bring them, otherwise these are recommended):
Alizarian Crimson or Permanent Alizarian Crimson
Pyrrol Red or Permanent Red
Hansa Yellow or Transparent Yellow
Lemon Yellow and New Gamboge
Pthalo Blue and/or French Ultramarine
Cobalt Blue or Cerulean Blue
Palette for Paint (with lid):
Rectangular style with large center mixing area
Paper
Arches watercolor paper 140lb cold press, 5
sheets 22x30
Brushes
#3 or #4 round
#8 or #10 round
½ inch flat Aquella brush with slant handle end
1 inch flat
Board to attach paper
Must be large enough to accommodate
11x15 paper
May be foam-core, masonite
or several layers of cardboard
Pencils
Graphite pencil, either HB or H with vinyl and kneaded erasers
Sponge – no scrubby
sides and not poly or artificial
Two good-sized flat-bottomed water buckets - no glass (old margerine tubs)
Box of white tissue
Roll of 1" masking or blue painter's tape
Large towel to cover
work area
Small shaker of table
