Please come ready to work. This is a suggested supply list. Your budget and existing art materials/ supply may be enough to get you started in this class. Take advantage of the art store coupons. If you plan in advance, you might be able to get most of these items on sale.

Newspapers to protect your work areaScissors (small and large)
A craft knife
Matte acrylic gel
Brayer
Metal ruler
Pencil and eraser
Artist’s paintbrushes
Foam brushes
Water jar
Paint palette
Hair dryer ( for cutting drying time)
Viewfinder- an empty picture-framing mat – to aid in the composition of your piece
Paper towels
Rags
Tweezers
Cotton balls
Rubbing alcohol
Masking tape
Sandpaper
Surface to work on: paper (printmaking paper such as Arches), canvas, canvas panels, masonite, wood etc…
Images (photos, old artwork, magazine clips….)
Scraps: paper movie tickets, photographs, old art drafts/ sketches, magazine clippings, lace, packaging, plastic wrap, cord, fabrics, stencils and anything else you can think of.
