Watercolor Collage

Materials

Watercolors:
· Bring pigments of your choice and a palette

Brushes:
· Flat 2” Robert Simmons
· Other flats and rounds of your choice

Paper:
· Arches 140 cold press, 22 x 30, 1 or 2 sheets for first class

Other:
· H and 2B graphite pencils
· Permanent Black India Ink / pen
· 3 x 5 or 4 x 6 photos (simple subject) to include in work
· Old roadmaps
· Japanese rice papers (Washi)
· Wrapping paper
· Tissue paper
· Scissors
· Spray adhesive or matte medium
· 2 plastic butter (type) tubs for water (flat wide bottom not tall and thin)
· 1” masking or blue painter’s tape
· Kitchen table salt
· Paper towels, Kleenex white non-textured, and kitchen sponge without the scrubby side
· Masonite or foam-core board to attach paper
· Large old towel to cover table work
· Bag to carry to all
· Notebook for notetaking in class
