ISO 9000+ Family Courses
PVCC continues to introduce Internet based training courses featuring ISO 9001, AS 9100, QS 9000, and ISO 14000. Some of the benefits of online training are:
· Convenience - participants can take courses from the comfort of their home or office.
· Focus on Students - participants can select courses when needed and can proceed at their own pace.
· Cost Effectiveness - travel is not required and online training costs are less than instructor led classes.

Participants should complete normal registration and payment procedures by calling Admissions and Records at (602) 787.7000. Once a participant is properly registered, contact the PVCC Online Course Administrator via email. A password and web site will be issued to each participant via email to allow access to the course via the Internet. Participants are expected to complete each course within 30 days of password issuance. Participants must have access to the Internet using Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser and email capability.

Corrective/Preventive Action Root Cause Analysis
This interactive ISO 9001:2000, QS 9000, AS 9100A, ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949 based course provides a road map for establishing and maintaining corrective and preventive action systems. This course contains workshop exercises and case studies. 1. What is the problem solving process? 2. What is root cause analysis? 3. How to make problems manageable. 4. Introduction to Process Mapping
This course is designed to be only an introduction to flowcharting for line level people and their immediate supervisors. It is strongly suggested that 2-4 people from one work area take this course as a group. They all need to have intimate working knowledge of the same process. Course content: 1. Identification of WHAT should be measured in your work place and HOW it should be measured. 2. Cycle time and its components. 3. Process mapping - the way the process is done now - "As is", how it "Could Be" done with little or no expense, and how the process "Should Be" given adequate resources.
