ISO 9000+ Family Courses

PVCC continues to introduce Internet based training courses featuring ISO 9001, AS 9100, QS 9000, and ISO 14000. Some of the benefits of online training are:

· Convenience - participants can take courses from the comfort of their home or office.
· Focus on Students - participants can select courses when needed and can proceed at their own pace.
· Cost Effectiveness - travel is not required and online training costs are less than instructor led classes.
· Timeliness - courses are updated as changes in ISO/AS/QS standards occur.
· Online Help - participants may address questions to the course instructor via email.

Participants should complete normal registration and payment procedures by calling Admissions and Records at (602) 787.7000. Once a participant is properly registered, contact the PVCC Online Course Administrator via email. A password and web site will be issued to each participant via email to allow access to the course via the Internet. Participants are expected to complete each course within 30 days of password issuance. Participants must have access to the Internet using Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser and email capability.

ISO 9001:2000 Management Overview

Home Study Courses:

These courses are certified by the RAB/QSA and meet the Training Provider and Examiner Certification Scheme (TPECS). This scheme has been established to reflect contemporary learning and assessment practices, industry expectations and, above all, demonstrate that applicants achieve the level of competence required for RAB/QSA personnel certification.

TPECS aims to provide training and assessment in defined competencies and, as appropriate, recommend competent graduates to RAB/QSA for recognition at Provisional Auditor grade. This ensures:

· Improved assessment and evidence of competence;
· A more effective and efficient personnel certification process; and
· Greater involvement of Training Providers in the personnel certification process.
