New England Back Roads
October 8 – 15, 2011

Experiences will include dinner at a Vermont winery, where you will also learn about the winemaking process and savor wine pairings with locally produced cheeses. Explore Shelburne Museum’s thirty-seven carefully restored buildings – including a lighthouse and a covered bridge. Visit Hildene House, the stunning summer home of Abraham Lincoln’s eldest son, whose historic home, gardens and farm are set on over 412 picturesque acres. Watch apples transform into cider with a trip to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill. Sample the sweets during a tour of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory.  Drive the scenic & historically significant Molly Stark Trail to take in the fall colors.
