New! How to Audition Workshop
Whether you are a novice or looking to return to the stage, the Audition Workshop is an in-depth acting class focused on auditioning. The workshop recreates the audition dynamic and provides you with feedback on strategies to successfully perform monologues. The class includes audition etiquette, callback strategies, cold readings and monologue selection. Instructor Richard Schultz is a stage director who has directed at numerous theatres throughout the Valley including the Herberger Theater Center, Tempe Center for the Arts and Broadway Palm Theatre. Originally from Chicago where he was active in the theatre scene, Schultz has a Master of Fine Arts in Directing and belongs to the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, the national union for stage directors.

Beginning Guitar - Group
This course is an introduction to the world of guitar performance. This approach is designed to give you the basic tools to find your area of interest in guitar styles and expression. We will cover very basic music structure, building guitar chords, classical guitar, rock, and a taste of lead rock guitar. Please bring you guitar (acoustic or electric) and amplifier (if electric). Text, Mel Bay Guitar Book 1, is available in the PVCC Bookstore. Supplemental materials are also given during class.

Guitar for Seniors
