Welcome to LifeQuest! PVCC offers a variety and activities, cultural events, classes and other learning opportunities for Boomers and Seniors in the North Valley. These programs are offered by Continuing Education, Fitness Center, Business Division, Counseling Division, Learning Support Services, the Center for the Performing Arts and other areas on campus. LifeQuest makes it easier for students and community members to access program and event information.

Classes are listed below. Lifelong learners will find non-credit classes that include personal enrichment and professional development opportunities. These short term classes are taught in a relaxed atmosphere.

These noncredit computer classes help adults who have little or no experience better understand personal computers.

Exercise classes, fitness memberships, free wellness seminars and Silver Sneakers are just a few of the programs offered by PVCC’s Fitness Center.

Lifelong Learning Seminar Series 602.787.6540
Seminars on a variety of topics to meet the needs and interests of boomers and seniors. These are free and are generally offered bi-monthly on Thursday afternoons.

Adults Who Are Returning to Education: The AWARE Club is designed to support new, returning and continuing adult learners who have had a break in their formal education. They meet informally on alternate Mondays in room KSC185 at 2pm.

Career Counseling staff can assist with returning to the workforce, resume preparation and interviewing skills. They are also a great starting place with help finding on-campus or on-line resources.

Convert Vinyl Records and Cassettes to CD
Learn to convert vinyl records and music cassette tapes into digital files to listen to on your computer or made into CD’s, that will play in any CD, ipod, or mp3 player by using the method of: a turntable, Plus Deck hardware (internal PC cassette deck) and a desktop PC computer. Other methods will also be demonstrated, using the latest USB technology (for both PC and MAC), and also new stand alone units not requiring a PC, that records directly to either a CD, flash drive or Secure Digital (SD) media card.
