Colored Pencils: Open Studio NEW!
Regardless if you’ve had little or years of color pencil experience, you can take your knowledge to the next level! Using paper, add other mediums to the pencil, such as water drops, to create unique pieces. Learn drawing techniques on various bases including wood and other objects. Art with Mixed Media NEW!
Learn to experience art with your hands! This program will focus on drawing, painting and simple sculpture. Learn to use graphite pencils, colored pencils, tempera paint, yarn, and various papers to provide challenge in depth, dimension and balance. Through the use of a ruler, scissors, proportioning of glue and water, learn to develop color usage and patterns. Finally, clay sculpture projects will be formed, painted, dried and sealed. Bring an apron or smock and some old towels. Class size is very limited. Student teacher ratio is 14/1 so register early.
