Basic camera and lens controls; composition; types of films or digital media; proper exposure techniques; depth of field; filters and flash and travel photo tips. Bring your camera and manual to class. Please read your manual before attending. Darkroom experience is not included. No point and shoot cameras, please. Camera must include the ability to be manually set. Field trip Sat., June 28 to the Desert Botanical Gardens. No class July 3 & 17. Class size is very limited, enroll early. Hand-Coloring Black and White Photographs Turn black and white photographs into hand colored artwork! Learn the techniques of shade and blending control and bring out the detail and emphasize elements within the photo. No photographic knowledge is required. Materials: Prismacolor soft pencils, 24-color set, available at art and craft stores and several 5x7 black and white prints on Epson Matte paper (no glossy or lustre prints).
