Bus Stop is William Inge’s classic romantic comedy about two young lovers and their struggle to find a place in the world. Stranded for the rest of the night, the passengers and diners have to deal with a loud, boisterous cowboy and his relentless pursuit of a pretty young girl from the Ozarks. As the night passes, Inge’s characters reveal how tough finding true love can be. Originally directed by Harold Clurman in 1955, Bus Stop was nominated for four Tony awards including Best Play. Performances are September 27th-29th at 7:30pm & September 30th at 2pm in the Studio Theatre/M-East Building.
