Prezi is a web-based presentation application with a single canvas instead of traditional slides. You can add text, images, videos and other presentation objects to the canvas. The canvas allows users to create non-linear presentations, where they can zoom in and out of a visual map. You will learn the mechanics of working in Blackboard with the emphasis on instructional design; embedding your Syllabus, Orientation Assignment, Course Calendar, and Building Community in your course. This workshop has two-parts and fulfills part of the requirements for developing an online or in a hybrid format. Homework is involved and set up in a hybrid format. You will learn how to engage learners and use alternative lesson and assessments. Also, the purpose and function of blogs, wikis, and discussion boards. You�ll also learn when to use these tools to create an interactive site for teamwork. How to locate the best sites for quality lessons, web-quests, online activities, rubrics, and other alternative assessments. Finally, adding voice to your course.
