Equipment, Supplies and Resources
Our classroom and outdoor space are supplied with equipment designed to stimulate and support children's learning and exploration. Materials meet all safety standards. They are chosen carefully to be aesthetically pleasing and meet the children's individual developmental, cultural and educational needs. Real objects are used in the learning centers and hand’s on teaching manipulatives are often made from wood or other natural materials rather than plastic. This attention to detail is an intentional part of the teacher’s work and reflects our belief that the environment is the third teacher. Parents and staff are the other two teachers.
