Guided Independent Learning (GIL) Courses - Spring 2006

Students must enroll in a GIL briefing , Briefing Schedule, and start the course by the enrollment deadline (enrollment is limited). Instructor provides print-based and/or computer-based course materials in the Center for Distance Learning (E125) to guide the learning pace (establishes due dates, exam dates, etc.). All course work must be completed by the official End Date, Friday, May 5, 2006. All students choosing to use the Computer Commons open lab to complete course requirements must also register for NC500-0001 ($5 computer fee). GIL students are required to complete a GIL Briefing in person, in the Computer Commons or online at Choices Briefing/ prior to beginning course work. Some courses require students to come on campus for testing.
