General System Requirements for Your
Home Computer |
- Have a newer computer with Windows XP or Vista.
- Have access to a computer with a high speed Internet connection. Dialup will not work.
- Hard wired networking will work much better than wireless connections.
- DO NOT USE INTERNET EXPLORER VERSION 8.0. myITlab IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH IT.
- Use Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0. You can download either version of Explorer at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx
- Have an email account that will allow for the sending and receiving of attachments.
- Adjust your pop up blockers, virus protectors, and spam protectors to allow the course components to work unrestricted.
- Be able to install and use MS Office 2007.
