The Goal and Mission of the African American Student Association:

Goal: The African American Student Association “people of change” here at PVCC serves to support all African American students here on the campus by creating an environment that stimulates education through awareness and recognition and providing leadership opportunity. We serve to increase awareness of the African American culture and our contribution to the United States of America.

Mission: We recognize and honor our heritage and try to bridge the gap between Africans here in the United States and African Americans because we all are “ONE” with one heritage. Our mission is to stand UNIFIED because we are one and we are working towards a change as the “people of change”.
