In Chinese culture, lives depend on competition for goods or services. People that don’t have connections don’t get what they want… its all about networking. Supply and jobs are assigned to most people with little or no interest in training. When we talked to the small business owner, he had good connections through his family and local government which gave him the opportunity to get a loan for his restaurant.
