Terracotta Army or Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses is a
collection of 8,099 life-size terra cotta figures of warriors
and horses located near the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor.
The figures were discovered in 1974 near Xi'an, Shaanxi

This is truly an unbelievable
display. Of all the sites we saw, this impressed me the
most. Being a person who does ceramics, I can only imaging
the time it took to create over 8,000 life-size figures. |
