The PVCC P.R.I.D.E. club is comprised of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) students and their straight allies.  The purpose of the P.R.I.D.E. club is to celebrate and promote diversity throughout the PVCC campus: students, faculty, staff and community members.  We will act as both a personal and social support for individuals within the PVCC community who may be dealing with and/or struggling with gender and sexuality issues.  In addition, we hope to unite the community through education, create a dialogue that promotes human rights, encourage an appreciation and celebration of diversity and engage in political activism.

The PRIDE club is hosting the Annual Desperado Gay and Lesbian Film and Arts Festival on Jan 27 - 29, 2012.
