The PVC Counseling Division participates in the National Depression Screening every year. Our purpose is to provide students and citizens in our community the opportunity to learn about the symptoms and causes of depression, and to learn about different treatment strategies.
Taking a depression screening-test at Depression-Screening.org is free and confidential. It is a quick and simple way to identify if you are experiencing symptoms of clinical depression. The depression screening-test does not diagnose clinical depression. An accurate diagnosis requires an evaluation from a psychiatrist or other qualified mental health professional.
PVC Counselors are available free of charge to discuss the results of your depression screening-test, and to determine if a referral to be evaluated for clinical depression is warranted. To schedule an appointment with a PVC counselor, please call 602 787-6540. If you make an appointment with a counselor, please remember to bring a copy of your depression screening-test to the appointment. |
