The Paradise Review is PVCC's annual student literary anthology which showcases excellent creative writing by PVCC students. The perfect bound journal contains poems, short stories, creative nonfiction essays  as well as "best journalism" piece. Written contents of theParadise Review are selected during the fall Student Creative Writing Competition by professional judges and published in the spring. In addition to publication, students who enter the contest may be awarded prize monies for each first, second, third and honorable mention category in each category. Judges may select "Writing of Merit" pieces that may be published in the Paradise Review but do not have a cash award value.  The Paradise Review has a press run of between 500-1000 copies and is distributed free throughout the campus and to the larger community as well as being archived in the PVCC library.
