Sarah Helsom & Ashley Stark PVCC Honors Forum Team “Wealth to poverty”

AWARE—Adults Who Are Returning to Education
Sold tickets for basket drawings that allowed the Club to provide a non-credit scholarship and a for credit scholarship for 2 credits to victims at the Chrysalis Domestic Violence Shelter in order to give them a new lease on life for the Spring of 2009.

| Emerging Leaders Box City Project Spring 2009 Empty Bowls: Partners in Art Raising funds and awareness for the homeless in our community. Through their efforts & the efforts of the students and faculty at PVCC, Emerging Leaders and Partners in Art, $1200 was raised for St. Vincent De Paul charities And 300 pounds of clothes in donations for the homeless!!! |

I Pledge To…
- See that the homeless are a very Prominent part of our community!
- Help someone less fortunate than myself!
- Volunteer my time and services to help others in my community!
- To see the homelessness that exists in children’s faces & teenagers who have been kicked out of their homes!
Buy a cup of coffee and a sandwich for someone I see who truly needs it!
- To acknowledge that my neighbor—or even my family—could be in need of my assistance in one way or another!!!
