Purpose of the Committee
Facilitates the planning of a document that develops strategies for the utilization of facilities in the context of the learning needs of the college. The plan generally addresses issues such as site analysis, plan development, facilities goals, and space use studies. The plan includes detailed attention to issues such as service area context, circulation and transportation, utilities, campus image, private transportation, site adequacy, building coverage, slope drainage, natural features, climate, infrastructure, proposed site use, parking, athletic fields, access, and land acquisition.
Organization of the Committee
The Committee will be an ad hoc committee of the Strategic Planning Council (SPC) and provide updates to the President's Cabinet as needed.
