2012 Talbots Scholarship Program- January 3, 2012 The Talbots Charitable Foundation is proud to present the 2012 Talbots Scholarship Foundation and the Nancy Talbot Award for perserverance and ingenuity, which is presented in the memory of the founder of Talbots. This program empowers women to enrich themselves through learning and achieve a college eduation later in life. ONLY the first 5000 eligible applications received will be processed. 2012 Desert Schools Community Service Scholarships - March 2, 2012 The Desert School Community Service Scholarships are awarded to students who give back to their communities. Desert Schools defines community service as those activities that benefit the public good. These activities must be done in partnership with a local nonprofit(503c) and/or governmental organizations. Church related services may be considered if they are beneficial to the entire community (i.e., feeding the homeless).
