Your tuition and fees are due December 04, 2009.  After December 04, 2009, tuition is due the day you enroll in classes unless:

• You already have a financial aid award.  Most students who received financial aid in the fall were awarded for the whole academic year.  Check you’re my.Maricopa.edu account.

• You were on PROBATION in the fall.  If you were on Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) probation status in the fall, your classes will be held until Monday, January 11, 2010.  Your fall term grades will be evaluated before 01/11/10.  If you completed your classes successfully, you will be awarded aid for the spring term.

• You have a COMPLETED financial aid application: A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) & any requested documents must be in the aid office by 12/04/2009.
• You enroll in PVCC’s interest-free e-Cashier payment plan to keep your classes from being dropped until your funds are awarded.  There is a $20 enrollment fee.

*Students are encouraged to apply for Financial Aid by completing a FAFSA after December 04, 2009. However, your funds may be released later in the term.

**If your FAFSA is selected for the Verification process in may take four to six weeks to be awarded aid.

***Classes will NOT be held for students who have issues regarding Satisfactory Academic Progress unless on fall probation as stated above. 

Bookstore Credits
Bookstore credits will be available to eligible students for the Spring 2010 term beginning Monday, January 4th, 2010 through Monday, January 25, 2010

• All students with funds remaining after tuition and fees are paid, are eligible to use a bookstore credit to purchase REQUIRED books & supplies (maximum $600.00 for full time attendance).
• To charge books and supplies to your Spring 2010 financial aid award, go directly to the bookstore.
• How to calculate book credit eligibility:

Check Releases
A check with the remaining financial aid funds (grants, loans, and scholarships) after tuition, fees and bookstore charges are deducted from your financial aid award will be mailed to all eligible students.  Check mailings will begin on Tuesday, February 02, 2010 for those students who have completed the financial aid process.

Checks will not be printed for students showing a debt to their account.  These students must resolve any debts before a check can be released.

NOTE: First-time student loan borrowers in the Spring term must wait until 30 days after the start of the semester for disbursement of their loan balance check.  Spring 2010 loan disbursement date for these students will be Monday, February 15, 2010.

DO NOT WRITE CHECKS BASED ON ANTICIPATED FINANCIAL AID DISBURSEMENTS.
The college will not pay fees related to late payments or account overdrafts
