Fitness

Designed to teach students how to use appropriate techniques
for assessing, writing, and participating in personalized
programs of Cardiovascular Fitness, Weight Control, and Muscular
Strength and Flexibility. Recommended for community members
wishing to use the PVCC Fitness Center fro a regular weekly
exercise program. Prerequisites:
None. Additional course Fee: $15.

Sports
Performance Center

Develop
your body to meet the demands of life, career, recreation,
and sports in our PVCC Strength and Sports Performance Center
under the expert guidance of our performance specialist.
In this program you can focus on increasing your body's overall
fitness level through exercise and functional movement-based
sport training methods including core training, balance,
integrated body strength and more. This program is also a
perfect match for those preparing for employment or employed
in physically demanding jobs such as firefighting, law enforcement,
jobs requiring heavy lifting, etc. Additional hours required
for class can be accumulated through the use of F-110 (fitness
center) during any open hours. Back
