Craig Adler, B.S. University of Illinois, nutrition and dietetics.  M.A., Northern Arizona University, educational leadership and school administration, A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer.  When not working or exercising at PVCC, he is studying to become an IRS Certified Tax Professional.

Jacky Burke, M.S., Exercise Science, Colorado State University. Jacky has held such positions as Director of Aquatic Therapy at Kissimmee Physical Therapy and Co-Manager of the Women's Wellness Center in Orlando, FL. She moved to Arizona in 2000 and is adjunct faculty at Paradise Valley Community College, Scottsdale Community College and also owns her in-home personal training business. Jacky is a certified personal trainer, certified athletic trainer, and certified strength and conditioning specialist. Back to top
Lisa Cvach, B.A., Cal State University, M.S., Northern Arizona University.  Lisa taught and coached volleyball at Ohio State University and Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA.  in addition to being a Fitness Instructor, she teaches a variety of classes and breakout sessions including self defense, fitness ball, volleyball and hiking. Karen Fehr ,Karen Fehr, M.S. Exercise Science, has worked as the Coordinator and Director of the PVCC Fitness Center since the college opened in 1987. Karen is currently the PVCC Division Chair for Health and Exercise Science. Her past experiences have been as the Manager of Wellness at Sentry Insurance and as the Fitness Coordinator at Scottsdale Healthcare. Karen’s areas of specialization include exercise science, RYT yoga, fitness conditioning for weight loss and wellness, pregnancy exercise, hiking, and mountain biking. Back to top
Mark Francis, B.A. in Exercise Physiology, Adams State College.  Mark works part time as a PVCC Fitness Center instructor.  He specializes in sports training and conditioning. Back to top
Ray Laing, M.A., Faculty, Division of Health & Exercise Science.  Ray has been a Health and Fitness Center Instructor at PVCC and Assistant Football Coach at MCC for several years.  Ray also teaches Adapted P.E., First Aid and Senior Fitness.  In addition to his coaching and teaching, Ray has had 30 years of officiating experience including baseball, softball, and ice hockey. Chad Reily, B.S. in Exercise Science, M.S. in physical therapy, physical therapist, certified strength and conditioning specialist, USA weightlifting club coach. He is also the president of Absolute Physical Therapy, Inc.  Chad works part time as a Fitness Center instructor at PVCC.  He designs exercise programs ranging from senior fitness to elite athletes.  With Chad's physical therapy background, he specializes in working with fitness center members with various injuries. Sadie Sund, Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Arizona State University in December 2003. Sadie has worked for Paradise Valley Community College Fitness Center on and off since 1997. She started at the front desk and was promoted to a Fitness Technician Assistant. With degree in hand, she is currently a Fitness Instructor. Sadie is certified in CPR and is currently working on her American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certification. Back to top
Fred Vergnetti, B.S. Exercise Science, Arizona State University.  Fred is a certified personal trainer as well as a licensed Massage Therapist.  His areas of expertise include functional training, sport specific training, youth fitness, weight training, stretching and wellness.  Fred's goal as an instructor is to help improve ones overall fitness and to promote a healthy lifestyle. Tatum Voeller, Adjunct faculty/Senior Wellness Specialist.  Graduated from Arizona State University, A.C.E. with a BS in Exercise Science Health and Wellness. Worked as a Director of Cardiac Rehab prior to coming to PVCC. Currently working in FC specializing in Senior Wellness, doing Silver Sneaker orientations, and teaching a post cardiac rehab education/support group ‘Hearts on the Move’. Back to top
Dana Wagner grew up in Wisconsin, attended UW-Eau Claire,earned a B.A. in Education/Physical Education at ASU, a master’s degree in Counseling at NAU and is presently employed at PVCC as adjunct faculty in Health and Exercise Science Dept. and as an academic advisor. Back to top
Bob Trink, B.S., M.S., Physical Education and Health Sciences.  Bob has taught physical education and health classes for over 32 years in all grade levels.  In addition to being a PVCC fitness center instructor, Bob is the Phys Ed department chairperson at Horizon High School.  During his years at Horizon High School his tennis teams have earned 5 Region titles, 1990 and 1993 State Championships and Bob has won Coach of the Year 14 times.
