Step By Step Enrollment Guide
Step 1 - Set up your Online Student Center at my.maricopa.edu
Go to my.maricopa.edu
Click on “New Student? Click Here,”
Then click on “Set up Online Student Center”
Follow instructions provided to obtain your Maricopa Enterprise ID (MEID) and (Password).
Step 2 - Complete the Student Information Form
In person at: Admissions and Records, Kranitz Student Center, 602-787-7000.
Online at: my.maricopa.edu
- Click on Student Center
- Enter your User ID (MEID)
- Enter your Password
- Click Sign in
- In your Student Center, click Admissions
- Select PVCC as college of choice
- Select type of Program (degree and certificates or
credit/non-credit)- Select Term
- Continue with steps to complete admissions form
IMPORTANT - Locate your Student ID number online (which is different from your MEID)
- In your Student Center, under Personal Information, click Demographic Data
- Make note of your Student ID Number. You will need this number for most on-campus services.
IMPORTANT - Arizona law requires that students who are seeking consideration for in-state tuition status or aid, that is funded in part or in whole by state money, to provide verification of citizenship, permanent residency or other lawful immigration status. Acceptable documents are U.S. birth certificate, U..S passport, AZ drivers license or AZ ID card. For a complete list of acceptable documents go to www.maricopa.edu/residency.
Step 3 - Take your Placement Tests
It’s not an admissions test, but a way to assess what Reading, English, and Math courses are right for you as you begin college. A photo ID is required for all testing. Study guides are online at www.paradisevalley.edu/assessment/. The Testing Center is located temporarily in the K building—room K109. Testing is done on a walk-in basis. Call for specific hours, (602) 787-7050.
Step 4 - Apply for Financial Aid and/or Scholarships
To apply for financial aid or scholarships, visit the Financial Aid website at www.paradisevalley.edu/finaid/ or the Financial Aid Office, Kranitz Student Center, 602-787-7100. Apply early and be aware of important deadlines.
Step 5 - Log in to your Maricopa Community Colleges Email Account
Log in to your college email account using your MEID and password at: www.maricopa.edu/google. This link to email is also available at www.paradisevalley.edu. All students will receive official communications about enrollment, financial aid, and other important deadlines.
Step 6 - Meet with an Academic Advisor and Register for Classes
Academic Advisors will assist you with planning for your future and choosing your classes. They will advise you concerning certificate and degree options, placement test interpretation and course descriptions. Advisement is located in the Kranitz Student Center. Call 602-787-7060 for available dates and times.
Step 7 - Pay Tuition and Fees
Students will no longer receive an invoice or payment reminder. Tuition due dates are available at my.maricopa.edu.

· Click on Student Center
· Enter your User ID (MEID)
· Enter your Password
· Click Sign in
· In your Student Center, under Finances, click Make a Payment. Select by Credit Card,
echeck or Payment Plan.
The Cashier’s Office is located in the Kranitz Student Center, 602-787-7350.
Step 8 – Register and Attend New Student Orientation
New Student Orientation is designed to help you: navigate the college system including all the things you need to be successful in college, meet other students as well as faculty and staff, participate in a campus tour, and more. You will register for an Orientation during your Academic Advising session.
Step 9 - Obtain your Photo ID Card and Parking Permit
Get your free student photo I.D. card and parking permit, required for all students, at the Information Center, Kranitz Student Center, 1st floor.
Step 10 - Attend your College Success Class
You’ll learn strategies for achieving your goals in college and in life including: Preparation for college work, increasing motivation and confidence, decreasing procrastination and stress, note taking and time management. You will register for College Success Course (AAA115 or CPD 150) during your Advising session.
