Steps in Pursuing a Grant
Explore — Look at the list of current opportunities or find other sources that might fund your project.
Pre-Proposal — Submit the PVCC Grant Proposal Pre-Submission form to get approval from the college.
Proposal Development — See the District Grants Interest Packet for information about the process. The District Grants Office staff can help with proposal development. They provide tips and tools, including a detailed process flowchart. PVCC's Institutional Effectiveness, Institutional Advancement, and Fiscal Offices can also help with facts about the College budget.
Submission — Before the proposal is submitted, it must be approved by the PVCC President, the District Grants Office, and the vice chancellor.
Administration — The District Grants Accounting Office will be involved once the grant is awarded.
