Scope:
The purpose of this program is to enable Arizona artists, arts administrators, and arts educators to participate in various career development and skill-building activities. Applicants must already have a particular activity or opportunity in mind before applying, and must describe how their participation in the activity will have an impact on their work or the community.
Areas:
Proposed activities must take place between July 1, 2009, and June 30, 2010.
Funding that will benefit a group of artists may be requested; however, the award will be
issued to an individual, and not to an organization or group.
Funds:
Award range - minimum $500 maximum $750
Applicants must provide at least a 25 percent match via cash or in-kind contributions.
Deadline:
Rolling - no advertised date
Applications should be submitted at least six weeks prior to the proposed opportunity.
Before your grant proposal is submitted, the district grants office will be available to review your application, answer any questions, and help you with technical difficulties. Please contact us after reviewing the guidelines if you are planning on submitting this grant.
