FROM: Cathy Hart- IRTS

I will miss Loren and his sense of humor.  He had a "special" way of responding to helpdesk calls...for example, he reports as he closes a helpdesk call to a customer:

"Never mind my last question - I checked with Alecia. I've also informed Betty that chocolate keyboard does not make a good holiday appetizer - the springs get caught in your teeth."

FROM: Sam Fraulino- IRTS

Loren was a great person with a big heart. Always going beyond to help and do things for others. He always had a way of making me laugh. I will always remember the "interesting" words I learned from him while he was struggling with printouts and printer issues. : -)

May God take care of you now...

Sam

FROM: Alecia M. Call- IRTS-Helpdesk

Loren was such a great person to work with, and he alwaysmade me laugh with his sense of humor. I only knew him a short while, but he touched all of our lives. Peace be with his family and prayers

Loren showed us strength under pressure as he continued to have an optimistic and positive attitude toward his commitment to work. It is a testament of his faith that he remained active in his church despite his difficult health issues. Loren had a great way of interjecting humor into an otherwise boring work day or difficult health day. We were blessed to have had a chance to know him. May God bless his family as they deal with their loss.

FROM: Virginia L. Ludders- Theatre

Loren was such a young and talented man and will be greatly missed by all who knew and worked with him in the theatre at Glendale Community College. For \ several years Loren directed the music for several musicals at Glendale. He was talented, funny, and loved the theatre. I don't think I have ever known and will ever know an individual who can play a piano, a keyboard, several chimes and bells, and direct singers on stage all at one time. He helped with with my computer, found musicians and trained actors who thought they could not sing into musical theatre successes. I will miss Loren and I am sure all who have known and worked with him will miss him.
